So what have we been up to since we got home? Really? Catching up on sleep and life...and the two alone were enough! :)
True Story: When you buy a single day pass to Sea World, you get a season pass for the rest of the year...you might see us at Sea World more often since the Sesame Street characters are all I hear about all day long from both girls.
Hot 3-D glasses, which neither girl would wear so they watched a fun, fuzzy show.
K always makes us go see the polar bears a couple of times...
Emmy loves the thrill but you'd never know it the way she clings on!
K almost lost it in line waiting to get on her pink pig fish and then watching another kid get into it...thankfully, we were able to get in it when our turn came around.
We went down because they were doing the Shamu night shows for spring and guess what? That's us on the jumbo screen! Yep, M took a pic. It's hard to tell but I'm in green and M has a camera in front of his face and the girls are squashed between us in pink and purple hats. :)
I know this is blurry, but the entire show was done up to rock n roll music, so naturally, our girls not only couldn't sit still, they spent the entire time dancing in the aisles. Trust me, neither M nor I taught her how to dance, she does that all naturally.
Oh, and we have been getting back together with our friends.
True Story: Our fence finally went kaput. Good thing we saved for this! M spent three of his vacation days putting up 70ft of new fence, digging post holes and having a generally great time outside in the rain. We also found termites in the fence post closest to the house. So we called a termite guy to inspect the house and he found dry rot from the laundry room. So M spent the next day doing a termite treatment on the house and determining the seriousness of the leak...t'was fun had by all!
Aww, just for cutes.
Why yes, and it is the season of birthdays, so off to A's bday. This was making jewelry out of noodles that stick together with just a little water. Very fun!
Ummm, the view from the backyard of their new home...have I ever mentioned I want to move a couple towns over? For good reason...no wind and views!
Face painting...it took some convincing but she did it.
Of course the boys made swords instead of necklaces.
She was supposed to sit on the balloon to get the candy out of it...she never did sit on it...smart?
So G sat on it for her...
Ready for cupcakes...
K can't have cake so she gets chocolate pudding when we got to parties...honestly, she couldn't be happier!
Her royal highness got a lot of princess stuff!! Now the three musketeers are all three years old!! Ah! Save us!
Oh, don't forget the weekly watching of Daddy while he mows the lawn. No kidding, they set up the chairs and watch like it's a sporting event and they even cheer him on.
These are funny...the girls were pulling the 'if I see the camera I will stop what I am doing' stunt. So I opened the window and took some pics out of it. You can see that there is a screen between us but it did something strange to the water - actual stars! I had no idea water could actually look like that in real life and it was totally by accident!
This looks funny but K is trying to show Em how to do the Itsy Bitsy Spider...
Well, it's been busy but fun! Oh, I almost forgot true story number three: somehow I am supposed to get Emily into school for next year because there can't be a gap in her 'early intervention'. I am on the front end of this but I am not sure how it is going to work out. The state drops here on her third birthday in November but the schools wouldn't normally pick her up until the following September. Pre-K is not free out here but it is supposed to be for her...we shall see how it all works out but as issues with Em just seem to come in a steady stream, we are on to the next issue and your prayers are always welcome!
God Bless!!
