We invited some of our church friends over. I didn't really get how many people our pool could hold until this day...we had 20 - 30 people in the pool at any one time and I never felt like I had to get out because it was too crowded. Crazy! We will have to invite more people next time! :-)
The youngest member of the crew.
These four are so funny...less than two years between all four of them.
They even got all dressed up for the fireworks.
K liked the fireworks but thought they were too loud and held her ears the entire time.
Em decided they looked like they were coming at her and she hid in the back row with her friend.
Just because fireworks and a camera are always fun.
This is without a tripod, by the way. (Have you seen the smirking smiley face? Insert it here.)
A little before the fourth, Uncle Chuck and Aunt Beck (Nana E's sister) came through on a bike trip. The girls got to hop on for a photo op.
We just swam and stayed close to home. It was a great visit! Glad you came through and stop in often!
Well, in the remodel, we did the floors...we decided on stained cement. After much angst, it turned out great! Then we taped paper on the floor to protect it while the kitchen was installed and the tape is now pulling up all our work. Ah! Do-it-yourself projects make me want to shout!!! I might have actually shouted for a little. We have not removed all the tape so the extent of the damage is unknown at this point. Someday. Someday, we will move my parents in to our house. I think.
Well this got out of order somehow. Boy was K excited about staying up "as late as the adults"! I told her it was past my bedtime but she wanted a picture.
For those who have heard, we continue our hot, hot summer. It has been pretty miserable but thankfully we have the aforementioned giant pool to keep us sane. God Bless!!
