Thursday we went to Milli's school (yes, it is dress up day). Milli is a friend of my parent's (and now mine) who is also the teacher who had her first grade class pray for Emily all of last year and now has her current kids praying for her too. She was the one who sent us the music box with a note and picture from each student inside for Emily's first birthday. Anyway, she wanted to show the kids how God answers prayers so we took our little miracle in for a visit.
First we went into the second grade class where her students from last year could see the baby they prayed for. Sorry the pics are small...it's my mom's point and shoot and the quality won't blow up large.
They were so cute and had SO MANY questions. The easiest to answer was, "What is her favorite color?" and the hardest to answer was, "Why does her head move around like that?" We did the best we could to answer them all and then they prayed for Emily again (that is why their arms are reaching out to her). I am convinced God uses kids in a special way when people need prayer and it brought great joy to my heart to show Emily to them and thank them myself for all their prayers.
This little boy wanted to share his hat with K. Kids are so sweet! :-)
Then we headed over to Milli's current class...
We answered a lot more questions and in the end, the kids all wanted her to wear their hats, so we tried a few on.
Then we let the girls play a little before heading to IKEA.
In the store, K had to push Em...the only problem is her height. She is too short to see so she pushes Em all over the place, mostly in circles. :)
We were looking for bunk beds that would fit in Nana's tiny house so K was helping to measure.
She also tested out each bed to make sure it was up to par.
Em still only cares about walking around...
...and trying to do everything big sister does.
I know it looks like her finger is in her nose but it was supposed to be a shot of her with her thumb in her mouth! :)
When we got home, we tried to put on the shirts Milli gave us from her school and take a pic...this was the most cooperative they were going to get after a long day like that.
The rest of these are just random pictures that I stole off my Mom's camera...
K playing 'wap (wrap) me like a baby'.
Thanks Milli for letting us visit and particularly for all the prayers! For those praying for Em's allergy attack just now, she is doing better. It was a rough road for a couple days while we tried to find a medicine that didn't make her throw up, but now the drainage has stopped, the fever that tried to come last night is gone and we are just waiting for her cough to clear up. We haven't used her inhaler all day today and the shallow, rapid breathing has disappeared as well. Thanks again! God Bless!!

Ready...
Set...
GO!!!!
K is having a blast pushing herself up the hill (with help) and then racing to the grass in my parent's front yard. The hill is very steep and I think my heart stops every time but she has so much fun, I have to shove my fears. Isn't that the job of a mom? Think of all the worst case scenarios and then cheer your child on while they do it anyway? :)
I know, shadows everywhere but she cracks me up so I included it.
This is even better. The sand must taste good cause she hasn't stopped eating it even though we've been to the beach half a dozen times already.
Who said you can't see wildlife around here?
We went to a 'Victorian Farm' the other day...
Em will walk up to anyone and ask them to hold her and climb on anything, but is scared to death of flowers, animals and anything that moves too fast.
My favorite...
Yep, still scared of flowers.
My cousin...
I thought we might find the second backpack we were looking for up here. We got a steal! This is a brand new Kelty and was used once...thank goodness for craigslist! K and I are looking at each other in my rear view mirror.
If you think of us, please pray for Em...her allergies have kicked in up here and it has gotten bad enough that she is coughing all day and all night. She is pretty miserable and not sleeping well. M has it the worst and K too but Em is the one who will turn it into something scary so pray it will clear up and not turn into anything.
We got some medicine for her today and it hit her before bed...this is her trying to go to sleep while Nana puts her nightie on. :) Poor girl.
Have a great day and God Bless!!
