Good Times in Fergus, K is 18 months old!!

This little girl is now 18 months old! My heart swells with pride when I think about all she has been through in her short life. I know I usually say that about Emily, and I know that is true as well, but sometimes we overlook what K has been through...she was just a baby when Emily came and her parents changed and life turned into a roller coaster for a while. I just feel like she has come through with such flying colors that I am proud of her. She is vivacious and fun and I love to be around her.

Trying on Em's glasses for the first time...

We are having so much fun in Fergus! Yep, after a long weekend of wedding stuff, Grandma and Grandpa and Doug and Margarethe agreed to watch the girls so we could get out with friends. So we went tubing down the river and hung out and ate a meal...yes, and entire meal in peace. :)

We have also been biking...

Em fell asleep on the way in...

K fell asleep on the way out...yep, she's on Emily's lap! What are sisters for?

This might be my new favorite family picture!

We have been going to the park...

Hanging out with April...

Spitting up on Eric...

Putting our name on the infamous red plate...

Helping with the yard work...

Texting...

And visiting with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa (M's grandparents).

You know how I talk about how pretty it is here? Well these aren't the best pics since a storm was rolling in and the sky was gray, but this is what you see when you drive around here...it means so much to us because we stare at 6-10 lanes of traffic surrounded by cement or stores everywhere we go at home...I know some people love that, but M and I spent the first 6 years of our marriage in the mtns and trees of Northern CA for a reason. We are hikers and backpackers. We did well for the first two years down in Southern CA, but now we just really miss the color and beauty so I had to post so you can see my spirit relaxing.

Yep, waiting for geese to cross the road.

J and H Get Hitched

M's youngest brother tied the knot this past weekend and it was a beautiful day for fun and pics...although, I'm not gonna lie, it was a little on the extremely humid side.
And of course, a few pics of us.

The groomsmen

I know it isn't good of K, but it is so cute of the brothers, I just have to include it.

This little cutie pie was the flower girl.

Yep, that's my new sister-in-law! Yeehaw!!

M's Grandma and Grandpa

Everyone decided to take pics every time I needed to feed Em, so there are quite a few with me like this...

Uncle Mark and K

Hanging out waiting for more pics

Family pic

Another family pic including Great-Grandma and Grandpa

Em finally got her pink dress on...yes, the girls were matching.  No, I never thought I would do that...now that I have two of them, I think it is about the cutest thing on the planet and until they tell me otherwise, I will continue.  Thanks Grandma E for keeping the dream alive!  (She made them, for those who didn't get that).

Yes, I forgot to say anything about my daughter's beauty mark she aquired at the cabin...there it is.  I have no idea when she got it, it was a huge goose egg two days prior to the wedding...she cries about things like grass between her toes, but apparently painful falls don't get a second blink...thank you my child.

I always have to enlist help with two girls and just me so during the ceremony, it was Auntie G's turn.  The Erickson's are AWESOME about helping out and I just want to thank all of them for just taking the girls and playing with them, holding them, and generally loving on them the whole weekend.

It was a nice day...and then the clouds rolled in...look at the difference in color.  From the time they kissed until Grandpa announced them, it got dark.  By the time we walked to the reception hall (400ft away), it was downpouring.  Perfect timing if you ask me.  Plus it cooled it off.

Father of the bride dances with my little girl.

Making wheat gum...yes, that means taking wheat and chewing it until it turns into gum.  It was so tasty, I think you should all try it.

My father-in-law with three of his girls.

And our family of one million is now a family of one million and two.  God Bless!!
