This was us making pressed pennies. J had to help Em when it got hard.
Nothing like overwhelming a goat!
Em is obsessed with ears and eyes and wonders why animals buck her.
This zoo focuses on desert so there is a whole section that is all about Africa so we are going to bring Nana and Poppy someday...I guess both Nana and Poppy sets. The local hyena.
Who needs to pay for a real camel ride?
M got a hold of the camera for a while so there are actually pics of animals...cheetah.
Yes, we count too.
Sitting to watch a show. I don't think the Erickson's sat through an entire show the whole day, but then again, Em's ballet teacher also wanted to know if she really was three yet. It was hot for all of us, but we hung in there.
This was so funny. J asked K if she would take a pic with him, so she runs over and flings her leg over his leg and smiles.
Does J look bored? This lady made him talk to her for at least five minutes before she let him touch the creature. I couldn't believe he hung in there that long!
Real smiles? Dad was making farting noises...
We had a great time! I just can't believe I was dying in 82 degree weather...that's how cold it's been out here that I'm not used to heat at all!
In other news, on the homefront, K has taken to organizing all her toys while Em takes her nap. She sets them up on anything, even speakers, and then goes crazy when Em knocks them all down after she wakes up. Siblings!
Just so Nana and my sister can see the dresses they made for the girls being used. They love them!
And this, well, this is just cause peanut butter is so yummy!
K has been begging for a trampoline and a cat...it's good to have friends with both.
It's time for me to go chill!
Thank you always for your prayers! As most of you know, the main stressors in our life have been eliminated and we are safe. I am grateful for that!! At this point, we are mostly praying for other people right now. Please indulge me to just list two.
First of all, my brother's family needs prayer as he is deployed once again and the little girl they are trying to adopt is very sick. She needs prayer for intervention and protection from permanent side effects of the illnesses she has. They also need the adoption process to hurry up and be completed before they move to Hawaii this summer or they will have to start over again.
Secondly, please pray for Auntie K's cousin. Her son is very, very sick. If you need more information on that situation, please check her facebook or blog.
I don't like to unload but these two are heavy on my heart tonight so please take a moment to pray for them and we can together trust God for healing for our little ones. God Bless!!
