Bob the Builder

We made it to the Discovery Museum today...where it just so happens that there is a Bob the Builder exhibit. So, what do you do if you LOVE these characters and you are a little girl named K? You run around like a crazy girl, hugging all of them...

...Dizzy is her favorite character, after Bob, that is.

We gave her one of the hats they had for the kids and she took it off, looked at it and went running back to the front of the exhibit to give Bob his hat back.

She had to get in on the action too!

Stopping to smell the flowers.

Earning her keep!

Inside a tire, we decided to take yet another family pic of Em not looking. :) She really doesn't get it to look up unless Mom is on the other end of that lens!

In a stagecoach.

This tongue pops out whenever she is concentrating...it cracks me up!

NaNa and Em playing with blocks.

We made a cornhusk doll for K.

And Em ate the cornhusk. She eats EVERYTHING, except food! (Really she is still doing stupendously with her eating. I can't tell you how exciting this is!).

Even some bubbles...and we didn't make it to all the exhibits in this place!

M was playing too. Sticking his hand through without breaking the bubble.

Em took a while to warm up but eventually started playing with everything we let her touch.

Including the sand.

And still a place to play with water.

Erickson Family Christmas

Well, here are at least some of the photos we took while we were all together for a mere two and a half wonderful and crazy days!

And apparently, I took only pics of kids (literally not one pic of Grandpa or M and I) and really only on the first day and a half. My camera apparently went nowhere. So, it looks like only Christmas, but we also went to the park, the mall, a movie, on walks and had a generally good time. :)

This is the youngest cousin with Em...although he is bigger than K! :)

The girls made this apron for NaNa for Christmas.

Craft time.

We gave J a police man dress up outfit and he thought it was great!

These are the four who don't live here...awww, the newly weds.

The early birds.  Uncle J tried to warm up Em's morning 'icicle hands' as I call them. She lasted at least a minute in his lap. :)

In the stroller...now that pics are done, she is willing to smile...

K got a Curious George book from Uncle Mark and Aunt Gina, so everyone else is opening presents and there is general chaos and K is sitting on the floor reading. All she needed for Christmas was one book and she was happy...she is her father's daughter, that's for sure!

Em is in the stage where she climbs up on everyone...and offers kisses.

Oh, I got one of M!! He fed Em and they both promptly fell asleep. Three long weeks in a row to get one extra day with his brothers, what a good guy!

Watching Super Why! with her uncle.

At one point we were all in the other room and I walked in and saw NaNa and J reading a book and just laughing and giggling. I have a whole cute sequence of this, too bad I had to pick just one!

Lots of laps means lots of people to read...

Well, until I steal a bunch more pics from the rest of the family, that will have to do. Have a wonderful day! We are off to SF tonight, I hope. They have reopened the roads after the snow storm, but M didn't get home until 11am (makes for a 19hr work day), so even if he only sleeps for six hours, we won't be out of here until pretty late. God Bless!!
