So Emily threw up so hard last night that her feeding tube came out her mouth...not a pretty sight, but needless to say, we had to remove it. We gave her a break through the night and did not put a new one in. Anyway, since she was tube free, I threw them on the giraffe this morning and this is what I got.
And there they go...
This is the only one with Emily's glasses off where she isn't crying. The days of glass-less pictures are probably over since she now gets scared without them on. Besides, she only smiles if she can see you making silly faces at her...who doesn't?
Oh and the title...yes, that is true. Due to Emily's oh so early arrival, for two and a half months of every year, our daughters are the 'same age'.
John Stuart Mill (Essay on Liberty)
‘The liberty of the individual must be thus far limited; he must not make himself a nuisance to other people.’

Sorry I took so long to update but it has been a long few days and very little sleep. On a positive note, Emily finally seems to be doing a little better. She is breathing easier tonight than she has for a long time and we saw her dr and she said it sounds like she is starting to clear up. She still has her feeding tube in since she is not really back to sucking, but her sudden interested in solids seems to have stuck. This is good news except that she has such a sensitive gag reflex that if anything gets stuck or there are any chunks, she gags and looses it.
We still have a ways to go but it looks like we might be on the right track. Here are some pics of just life around here.
This is K on her new trike we found at a garage sale...she is still too short for it but insists on 'riding' it. So we went outside to try it out.
Hanging out at an indoor park.
Playing yahtzee as a family...K rolls the dice, we play and Em tries to ruin as much as she can. :)
Dad and his girls, even if the oldest decided to leave the pic.
And one for the road, yes, that is a cow on the potty.
