Tidepools

Today we went to the tide pools near here...

We got to see starfish, sea anemones, sea urchins, crabs of all sorts, abalone, and harbor seals with their pups...this is Dad trying to point out where the seals are.

It still just makes me happy that she is willing to touch anything, much less live animals. She started out so cautious and now she is downright adventurous! :)

Harbor seal and pup (brown).

This is hard to see but if you look at the crab carefully, you will notice the starfish leg around it...it is being eaten by the starfish. Pretty cool.

Yep, Em grabbing her glasses and K playing with Dad's ear...looks like a familiar family pic!

Tag teaming on this slippery surface.

On our way out.

Em climbs on everything...this table has been removed from the porch, but not after a photo op...she's so proud of herself!

And this is what K does all day on Nana's porch. We all think moving sand from one place to another with no purpose is torture yet she thinks it is fun.

The ladies.

Mmmmm...good days end with good food.

God Bless!
