Bryce

Our next stop was Bryce Canyon National Park. I love this park as the colors are spectacular and the hoodoos amazingly unique.

We decided to do the hike down to "Wall Street"...the small canyon at the bottom of the not-so-small hill.

Wall Street was pretty neat and since it was the only shade in the whole area, it felt great!

When we popped out at the bottom, it was hot and dry and we weren't sure how far it was to get around the loop so we decided to split off.  Nana and I went around the loop and the boys took the girls back up the way we came.  I guess they made it all the way without complaining or attempting to quit.  They are turning into good little hikers afterall.  Yipee!

It is hard to tell but the middle, black portion is a bridge connecting the two sides.

So, coming back up on the other side, this was our path.

Nana made it to the top of the world.

Windows...

And of course a natural arch...

Honestly, in America, this has never happened to me.  We were warned to slow down by the highway patrol and sure enough we had to stop and wait...for cows to cross the road.  After this Emily drew a picture of the 'cowboy who looked at her through her window' and K drew a picture of the baby calf she saw.  So classic!  I even took a video like a good tourist.

By our next posting, we will be in Colorado with the rest of the Ericksons.  God Bless!!
