First we went and looked at the pumpkins while we discussed the life cycle of a pumpkin and showed them each of the stages in the patch.
Then we colored the pictures of the life cycle of a pumpkin...
Cut them out and made a book to take home.
After that, we talked about texture while we touched the outside, and then the inside of the pumpkin.
Z showing you what she thinks of the seeds...she touched them once. :-) They are all like this so we have started introducing a lot more tactile activities.
After that, we just wandered around, I mean, practiced new vocabulary, learned to compare and contrast using pumpkins, and learned our directions and turn taking in the corn maze. (How was that for teacher talk?).
Once the rest of the Braille group arrived, we met with them, had snack and headed into the petting zoo.
A hid behind K in the goat pen...
The poor baby had to put up with K again.
A finally pet the kid once it was in the barred in area. :-)
Child number six is under there...I will introduce you to her soon.
Good byes
We are sticking with dance for another couple of weeks until her recital but gymnastics started a new session so for a couple of weeks, the two will overlap.
This should be very fun! Have a great day! God Bless!!
