Well hello to all of you! It has been a while and I have lots of updates to do but I almost forgot to tell you two of the most important pieces of news...my brother is home from Afghanistan - safe and sound, PTL!! And Nana got some really cute pics of our new niece, so I will steal some and introduce you all to her soon!
This sequence was so cute that I just had to include it.
We have been out late and up early for several days in a row and well, that leaves Em a little on the mischievous side these days...this is her, "Ah you totally saw that...but wasn't it funny?" look.
Soon they will actually play together. :)
Monday we headed out to Indio to visit with the Erickson's...I realize that is an ambiguous statement as there must be at least a million of us, but M's second cousins.
It was quite windy...
...but that didn't stop the girls from wanting to swim.
Emmy likes to think she is just like K, but the cold hard truth is that Emmy, like the rest of us, actually gets cold every once in a while, so she had to come out. :)
Awww, my girls...
Right after this, Em slipped and smacked her chin on the steps of the playground. She got a nice cut across her chin and managed to get blood on all our clothes but I think in the end, the band-aids bothered her more than the cut.
Upstairs we played with third cousins...
And Eric told me to put this in the blog under, "Eat your heart out Grandpa!" So, that's not my fault Poppy! We will see you tomorrow!! :)
Ready for bed...or their carseats...interchangeable terms in our girl's world.
Hope all is well! Thanks for all the emails and feel free to write any time. I am open to pray for things you need prayer for and love to hear from you! God Bless!

ahhh what a great blog. good seeing loved ones again whom I have not seen in some time. you all look great and i love the one with E and the girls. there are so many boys in that family. i am sure he loved being around some little girly girls so very precious and tusen tak for sharing
Does Em hate bandaids? Aaron has an extreme mental/emotional aversion to bandaids. He screams more over them than his owies. I'm convinced it has to do with all the tubes and wires taped to him at birth! - Esther
