Life in September

Well, we were having a fun but busy week...before the aforementioned food poisoning episode summarized so eloquently by my husband...but it has also been a lot of dr visits as well. This is Em on our new piano given to us by Nana and Poppy. We have to get it tuned but I am hoping one of these two will learn to play.

K got her new potato head set and loves it! She plays with it all the time and is so proud she does it all by herself.

Mr. and Mrs. K was retested for her allergies and it turns out that her egg allergy is very serious and most likely stuck for life. She is also now allergic to all 'tree nuts' - peanuts, almonds and soy were the ones they tested. So we are going on an even more strict diet for that little one and although we had been a little lax with cupcakes, they are now off the table again. Poor girl! She gets none of the 'good stuff' in life.

Em had her MRI consult and looks to be in good health, so the MRI is still scheduled for this Friday. We are trying to double check that our insurance is going to cover this so we can go forward but the major concern is the sedation they use. Last time, she had seizures afterward and they assumed it was the sedation medication so they will use a different one but we still don't know for sure how this will go. Please pray she will be fine and if not, that God will prevent the MRI from happening at all. Thank you!

April, I didn't even realize she was in your shirt until I posted this...go Fergus Falls!

Our two resident goof-balls.  Yep, the wind shifted directions and K's allergies started immediately.

The dog and the girls have finally made peace. Sammy lays still and licks their faces as long as they are gentle when they pet him. It is very cute to watch them interact...finally!

Poppy and Nana came out to visit as well...dancing with Nana.

Well, M had a root canal and I also saw the dentist, then we had the 24hrs from hell and the rest of the week spent recovering. It's been stellar but we are still here and still kicking...it's gonna take a lot more than that to get this family down! :) Not that that's a challenge, I swear! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. We are headed to the Viking's season opener against San Diego...totally looking forward to it! God Bless!

It's ridiculous how your girls get cuter and cuter. And way to sport the Otter gear, Em! Love it!
