Anyway, thought I would take this moment to update on my brother in law. He is out of the hospital, came home on Tuesday and seems to be doing pretty well. He can't climb the stairs yet but has at least been able to help out with the girls while my sister is at work. My sister's best friend will be there this weekend and next week my brother and his family will get to stay for a week and help with all the work that needs to get done. Mitch will try to start going back to work in a week.
Just a couple of the pages from Em's book....this is when we were first starting to hold her...her first shirt she ever wore and the diapers that were way to big for her for such a long time.
I have been using shapes of body parts to explain what is wrong with her so she doesn't get overwhelmed and if she wants to follow one problem at a time, she can just follow the shape...you can see a brain, intestines and a sack of blood for blood issues.
People keep asking me if they are too late to send in a note for Emily's yearbook...nope. Her notes will be at the end of the book and since this is scrapbooking, I can always just add more pages. Thanks!

Thankful your brother-in-law is home from the hospital!
This scrapebook is a treasure for Emily of the beginning of her life! Looks like you are doing a fantastic job. I remember so many of those pictures! And to think this all started about this time one year ago this Friday pm!! I remember where I was when Marilyn called..in the parking lot at the grocery store. Now many miracles later, she is this darling little girl who has overcome so many issues. Praise God!
We are all blessed with her story! Thank you for your sharing her with us through your blog! Hugs and kisses to Emily Grace and to her big sister!
What amazes me is that you have the time to blog and take pictures and post them and scrapbook! Wow! But your darling girls are a treasure and we so love reading your story (and about parenting) and miracles. Many Happy Birthdays to Emily as she grows up to love Jesus and tell others her story someday!
Love, June
