Off to the Zoo

Since you only get to visit about half of a zoo when you have a one year old, we headed back to the SF Zoo...this time to see the other half.

And since it is SF, we had to dress for winter and sun burn all at the same time.

My sister found some boots for Em's bday so she needed me to measure the length of her foot. It is 3.5 inches long. And you know what I realized? Her FOOT is now one third of her total length when she was born. Her FOOT! :)

Em eating Grandma's string from her hat.

Waving to the people on the train.

Taking a break.

Mmmmm...Em couldn't wait for her milk to heat up so she decided to eat it frozen. Oh, yep, we are still on frozen breast milk for now. PTL, that is crazy!

Riding a bear...

At the farm...

Do you know what happens when you give a toddler a rake?

She chases the goats with it...just because it is funny to watch them run from her.

Ride 'em cowgirl!

And baby cowgirl!!

When you have short children, they want to do all the fun stuff, but you have to do all the work...I don't think she will be able to reach the pedals on a bike until maybe 10 years old?

Don't forget to send Emily a note for her yearbook! Thanks to everyone who has already responded! We are off to Lake Tahoe tomorrow and we are very excited! The girls are doing well with all the traveling...some meltdowns as can be expected from kids their age, but overall pretty good. And since we aren't going to stop taking them places just cause they are crabby or fussy (K will catch on someday that temper tantrums don't work), I am glad they are still letting us enjoy our time off. :) God Bless!
