Hike to Vikingsholm

Before we headed out, K had to try out some new sunglasses...

As we set off, K was very happy to be in her "ba-pa."

There were trees to touch...

The sky had awesome clouds...

The lake looked awesome...

A pause for a family picture...M was very disgusted with himself that he forgot to change the ISO setting on this picture (and a bunch of other pictures, too.) At least we got a family picture!

The famous Vikingsholm.  It was closed, so we were unable to take the tour.  This is just the front of the building.  It actually has courtyard behind this, which is surrounded by more rooms.  The building is built in one continuous square, with the courtyard in the middle.

Playing on the beach in front of Vikingsholm.

M was enjoying taking his pictures.

We all sat down for a pic-nick.

As we were eating, these bluebirds landed in the trees overhead.  This rascal swooped down to steal part of M's sandwich as he was holding it in his hand.

Then this paddle wheel boat came by...

Then M decided to take more pictures...

While K fell asleep on Mommy...

Shortly afterwards, Emily also fell asleep on daddy and we decided we should head back to the car...
