Burney Falls

We have had a pretty relaxing vacation since we have been passing around a very mild stomach flu...the kind that just makes you tired and nauseated. We did, however, head to Burney Falls for a morning walk and picnic.

It's a short walk to the base of the falls and then a fun hike around the area.

The falls are 129feet high and beautiful.

The down side?  It was very cold and I hadn't been able to find the girls' hats before we left.  Em got so cold she was turning purple.  So we stuck her in my jacket with me.  Her fingers were tiny icicles but she warmed up quickly as we hiked along the path.

Remember when she fit between my chin and my breastbone?

We may or may not have fed the blue birds.

Around the house, we have been taking advantage of the local hikes ridiculously close by.

K has been helping Nana make her garden.  We were making labels for everything we were planting and K wanted to make one too, so we gave her the flowers.

We have also visited the usual characters...my grandma.

Played play-doh...

Hanging with friends.

And getting anyone new to read them a book.

I love March!  God Bless!!
