Trip to Getty Center

B and I decided to spend the day at the J. Paul Getty Center. This place is awesome and we are definately going back. You pay $10 to park and admission is free! Can you imagine that, something to do in LA without breaking the bank!

Looking back at the main entrance from the courtyard.

Turning around 360 and looking at the west pavillion which overlooks downtown LA.

The garden area. We brought our own food along and ate here. Quite beautiful.

Looking from the gardens back up to one of the research buildings.

M's favorite piece of artwork!

My favorite painting, although there were quite a few that were pretty cool.

Sculpture and architecture were kinda the theme around this place.

Downtown LA from one of the balconies. Yes, that is smog in the air. Imagine we are breathing that crap!

hmmmmmm! Looks like a place that we do need to visit. We especially like the "favorite statue!" One can only imagine what he was trying to do when he made such a face!

Yes, isn't this a neat place to visit! I did the visit with my girl cousins when we visited at Penny's house. The view was great too!
